Grad Cards - Part 1

SO, my friends and I are graduating very soon....which means another excuse to make some cards!  I decided to use the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge to create the cards.  So far I have cut out two people, one depicting me and another depicting my friend Whitney.

Later I will attach these people to a card.  The tassel has been embellished with Gold Stickles.

I used my phone for the pictures, so the quality isn't that great.

Happy Penguin

SO...my sister and my friend both love penguins.  Shortly after receiving the Sure Cuts A Lot program, I wanted to make something penguin, but was out of black paper, and time.  Over the weekend I had some free time, and decided to make this card.  I actually made two, one smaller than the other.

Enjoy!

SO, I guess instead of trying to back track and get all the stuff I have done in the past few months on here i'm just going to start fresh and TRY to keep up with it....we'll see.

I recently got the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge for my Cricut. Not knowing which doll to try first, I decided to make a Red Wings Hockey player for my brother who is a huge wings fan. I think he'll love it.

Valentine's Day Card

Here is the card I made for my brother. He goes to MSU so I made it green. Along with the card I gave him a bag of all green peanut M&M's.

Thank You Card

At school every year we have the Meadow Brook Ball. It's a nice formal dance in the ballroom of the Meadow Brook Mansion located on campus. My cousin was attending Cosmetology School at the time, so I asked her to do my hair for the ball. In return I got her a gift card and made a thank you card.

Well it's been a while

Well, it's been a while since I've actually had time to update this blog. Here I am still on Christmas.

As a Christmas gift for my grandparents, godmother, and aunt, i decided to etch some plates and give them some cookies I had made. I used the Cricut to cut out the designs I wanted onto vinyl then placed it on the plate. Once the design was all set, I used an etching cream. I let it sit for about 20 minutes and washed it off. The end result is below, and everyone really loved it. They
are dishwasher safe, but I would recommend just washing by hand.

Christmas Tags

Aside from scrapbooking, which I might add I am very behind on, I have started doing cards and tags and such. This all started last year when I decided to make tags for all of my Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them so much, so I decided to do it again this year.

I used a stencil to cut out the actual tag. All of the graphics were cut from the christmas cheer cricut cartridge. The names were cut from the Alphalicious cricut cartridge. Some of the edges are inked, and some of the words were colored in with markers.

Never Blogged Before

Wow, this is cool. I've never really blogged before, but my sister just started a cake blog, so I thought maybe I would show off my crafts on this blog!

I've been scrapbooking for about 7 years, and I just recently started card-making and other kinds of crafts.
